colours.

i love colours.

Colours are not just colours to me.

They are memories, emotions, fragments of time suspended in a palette of endless shades. They are the silent echoes of a moment, the rhythm of life itself. Every hue tells a story, sings a note, carries an emotion waiting to be felt.

The icy sting of winter air against my skin, crisp and electric.

The enveloping and mesmerising scent of yellow umbelliferous flowers drifting through the Jordanian mountains, under the burning sun.

The deep sadness in my mother’s eyes, the bittersweet warmth of her smile—fragile yet full of love, etched in my heart like a photograph I never want to fade.

The rhythmic patter of steady rain on the forest leaves in the quiet of night, a lullaby only nature knows.

The velvety sweetness of cheesecake melting on my tongue, a taste of comfort, a nostalgia for time standing still.

Some memories are so vivid they demand to be captured, to be frozen in time before they slip away. My art is my way of holding onto them and keeping them alive—not in rigid form, but in colours and abstraction, allowing them to breathe, evolve, and whisper their own meaning to whoever is looking, letting each piece become a postcard.

A polaroid. A feeling. No retakes, no overthinking. Just the moment, perfectly as it is.

My work is steeped in nostalgia, woven with retro echoes of the past—but it always belongs to the present. I create as I breathe—instinctively, freely, in the moment. I paint as I photograph—with urgency and intuition, framing a fleeting instant before it fades.

I never want to impose a vision, to dictate what you see. Carte Blanche Me Now. is an open canvas, a door left ajar for you to step through. A place where colours and forms breathe freely, where you are given carte blanche to see, feel, and interpret in your own way. Just like life, just like us—every person is a mix of unique shades, and every emotion is a palette of its own.

I believe in giving life carte blanche—trusting the unexpected, following intuition, living in the moment before it slips away. Life is a blank page, and we are the only ones who can shade and shape it.

Carte Blanche Me Now. is an ode to life, to feeling, to the memories we hold close, to the moments that shape us, and to those who embrace them fully.
